Founded in 2024, Trio Resonantia is a Vienna-based piano trio deeply rooted in the city´s musical traditions. Its international members?the Italian violinist Riccardo Lui, Austrian cellist Irina Schukoff, and Japanese pianist Kasumi Yui?share the aim of connecting with their audience through the powerful, universal language of chamber music.

The trio was awarded 2nd Prize at the S. Vainiunas Chamber Music Competition and has performed at, among others, the Trame Sonore and ISA Festivals, as well as at the Wien Museum and in Weimar and Vilnius. Its performances have been broadcast by ORF and Ö1.

Trio Resonantia currently studies with Johannes Meissl at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. It is a guest ensemble of the European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA) and Ensemble in Residence at YCM Berlin.

The trio also receives artistic guidance from Thomas Hoppe, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, Claus-Christian Schuster, Karla Haltenwanger, Ilona Kindt, Peter Schuhmayer, Minna Pensola, Marianna Shirinyan, and Patrick Jüdt.
